My new painting, and last of the year 2024, is centred around renewal, hope, birth. This current series I’ve been working on has been my most introspective yet, with me finding and building the words to say to you somehow through all the noise and grit and dirt that’s blocking my own creative pores.
It’s like being born again, that process of renewal, of resurgence. I’m calling back all that power and strength and love back to me— all that I had lost to the vices. It’s what this has all been about, in a way, finding a way back to myself, back home. Why do I paint? Sometimes I paint to remind myself, and this is one of those paintings, Maria is a reminder that even in darkness, life and light can be born.
For this last painting, I wanted to do something special and have it be an edition for 7 DAYS, till Dec 25 2024 for only $7.
