Anthony's new series captures and immortalizes the essence of the Ówàḿbẹ̀ spirit—traditionally vibrant Yorùbá celebrations—through the use of historical and emotionally laden materials like marble, expressing joy, togetherness, and cultural commemoration.
His works not only celebrate communal bonds through depictions of figures like Lágbájá and themes of sisterhood, but also poignantly incorporate elements of Nigeria's recent political and social struggles, underscoring resilience and unity in the face of adversity.
